Volunteers do many things, but first and foremost, they share their joy and love with the residents of St. Sophia's Nursing Home. They visit and spend time with the resident, helping them in any way they can to make their day a little brighter.
The volunteers gather the residents together for activities, so that all who wish to be there can attend. They lead the rosary, take the residents to Mass in the Chapel, while communion ministers take communion to the rooms of those who are unable to come to the Chapel. Volunteers help keep up the spirits of the residents.
